These liquid lipsticks are incredible! They have impressive staying power and last for a long time. After a few minutes, they do become quite dry, so I prefer to layer a gloss on top, but that’s just my personal choice. I also appreciate the compact size of the container, making it easy to carry around. You really don’t need to reapply often, if at all. When I get home, I usually need to use makeup remover to take off the remaining product. I’m a big fan!

They may be small, but they are perfect for daily use. The formula is creamy, and despite being matte, they don’t dry out the lips. With a minty scent, they have long-lasting wear, and the color remains intact even while wearing a mask. After eating or drinking, a touch-up is needed. An excellent product!

I want to clarify something right off the bat. Yes, these are small—about the size of my pinky—but don’t let that fool you. You really don’t need much to achieve excellent coverage; a little goes a long way! Even just a tiny amount works well as a lip tint.
While they are on the pricier side, you do get six shades, and let’s not forget they’re a luxury brand. In the tester image, the colors from left to right are: Charming, Sincere, Committed, Doting, Dedicated, and Loyal. I did notice that Sincere and Committed are quite similar, but upon closer inspection, Sincere is just a bit darker, so they are distinct shades.
The application was smooth, delivering full, opaque color with a soft, non-drying matte finish. They dried quickly and have great longevity; I even had trouble washing them off my arm during testing because they set into my skin just like they did on my lips. And the best part? Mine had a lovely mint chocolate scent (is that typical?)! This is exactly the quality I expect from TheBalm.
I appreciate that this set allows me to experiment with different colors to see which ones I’d like to purchase in full size. Overall, I think the $28 was worth it. Sure, I could have gotten more product from a single tube, as another reviewer mentioned, but not with this variety of colors. I’m happy with my purchase and look forward to trying more from this brand in the future!
