The colors are fantastic, though some are darker than they look! However, every time I open or close the case, it creates a big mess on my counter and inside the product. The lid seems to scrape against the colors, especially the darkest one, causing it to break apart and waste product. I’ve tried to figure out why this happens, but I can’t tell if it’s a counterfeit product or just poorly designed.

I want to start by saying that the eye shadow itself is fantastic. The colors are highly pigmented and beautifully matte. However, the packaging for shipping was inadequate. It arrived in a box with only a small amount of crumpled craft paper for protection. It should have been wrapped in bubble wrap because one of the six colors was completely shattered, leaving a mess inside the packaging. If it weren’t for the other five colors, I would have returned it immediately. Unfortunately, it was the darkest shade that broke, so I had to clean up the debris from the other shades to make them usable. I probably should have sent it back, but I love the remaining colors too much to part with them. I’ve learned my lesson and won’t be purchasing a powder eye shadow palette from Amazon again. The rating is solely due to the broken color, not the quality of the product itself.
