Like other reviewers, I initially thought it was a bit pricey for daily use as a body wash. However, the ingredients suggested it could be excellent for my face. The detergent used here, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, is much milder compared to the common and harsher sodium lauryl sulfate found in most body washes and heavy-duty cleaners. I opted for the Bergamot and Hinoki scent, which I found quite enjoyable and not overpowering. After wetting my face with hot water, just a partial pump was more than enough to create a rich lather for my face and neck, making it easy to prep for shaving. The razor glides smoothly, and it rinses off effortlessly. Additionally, this detergent is more biodegradable than SDS. Given the price point and the small amount needed for facial washing, it’s a great value! Plus, the pump design eliminates the mess that can come with using bar soaps at the shaving sink.
